Adrienne & Will | A Payson Wedding at The Rim Golf Club
Adrienne and Will's wedding day took place in the gorgeous (and very green!) town of Payson, Arizona at the incredible Rim Golf Club overlooking pine trees and mountains as far as the eye could see. The weather was almost perfect with the sun shining and barely a cloud in the sky. It was a little windy, to say the least, but a little bit of wind never hurt anyone. Their wedding day was pretty special, as it was a day that was over ten years in the making. Yup, that's right, they have been sweethearts since 2006! They both went to Arizona State University and they met through mutual friends while on a spring break trip to Rocky Point in Mexico. We all know that there will be ups and downs in any relationship that lasts for over ten years, but you wouldn't guess it with these two. They are obviously in love with each other and I could feel the excitement all around!
I loved how happy their parents were and how the bridesmaids were all smiles while getting their hair and makeup done, I loved how Will and his groomsmen were goofy and ready to laugh during their photos, and I loved how their guests cheered and yelled their names across the reception hall. Everyone involved in their wedding day was just so genuinely happy for the couple! One of my favorite things was seeing their favorite photo from their engagement session framed so beautifully and used as their wedding guest book....and that photo was taken by me! To top it off, they told me later how much they love that photo and so of course we had to recreate it during their bride and groom portraits!
Their day flowed smoothly from the getting ready to the ceremony all the way to the reception. I love it when the newlyweds have serious dance skills too, and Will twirled Adrienne around so effortlessly in her stunning wedding dress. The speeches and toasts made by Adrienne's dad, the Maid of Honor, and the Best Man were full of sentiment and plenty of jokes and laughter. And then the dance party began....but not before the bride herself took over the microphone and started rapping to Nelly's "Grillz!" Oh man, this was a something to witness! This elegant bride knew all the words to this hilarious song and her groom and friends loved every minute of watching her let loose and have fun with it. Now that's the way to start the party!
Adrienne and Will, your wedding day was a blessing to be a part of and I wish you two many, many more years of happiness as husband and wife!!
