Adrienne & Will | A Payson Engagement Session

Community over competition. I love this as a mantra and just as a way of life in this crazy business of photography. I met Adrienne and Will through my very good photographer friend, Stesha of Stesha Jordan Photography. She recommended me to them when they were in search of a photographer for their upcoming 2017 wedding. To say I was shocked is an understatement. (I know I know, stop being so hard on myself.) I just couldn't believe that this amazing photographer was recommending me to her friends for such an important day!

Then I met Adrienne and we got along so well, bonding over the wedding planning process and of course, some wine. I could probably bond with anyone when wine is involved, but I loved how we agreed on the things we wanted out of our wedding days. Fast forward to the day of their engagement photo session...in one of my favorite Arizona towns, Payson! I was even more excited when they said that's where their wedding would be held...like, you can't get a more gorgeous backdrop for such a special day. I'm only familiar with hiking trails around Payson so I hopped into their truck with them and their two lively dogs, Frank and Stan, and I was a little unsure when we were driving down a random road. But Will said to trust him, he had the perfect spot....and then we came up to this cluster of yellow aspen trees and I think my and Adrienne's jaws just dropped. Nailed it! Can't wait for your wedding day you two!
